The Virtual Job Board is a service provided to students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The job board is intended to assist students in finding part-time employment. University of Illinois departments are encouraged, but not required, to post their student employment positions on the job board; therefore, students should be aware that this is not a comprehensive listing of all on-campus student employment opportunities and may want to explore other options for securing on-campus jobs. University policy requires background checks for certain positions and for individuals who have regular contact with minors. The employing department or campus Human Resource Office will notify students if a background check is required for the position. All non-University of Illinois postings are provided as a courtesy. Postings on the job board do not constitute an endorsement by the University of Illinois. As such, students should use discretion and judgment when applying for non-University of Illinois positions.
JOB SEEKERS: DO NOT APPLY FOR OR ACCEPT ANY JOB THAT WANTS TO SEND YOU A CHECK IN ADVANCE OF BEING HIRED OR ACTUALLY WORKING. THIS IS MOST LIKELY A FRAUD. For an example, click here.
My Job Search allows students of this University to create a set of preferences in searching for positions. It will also allow a student to request e-mail notification of new positions that meet those preferences.
